One of my partners in library crime, Penny Waring, and I presented at the National Education Summit in 2024 on the power of information literacy programs in school libraries and the importance of scaling for both depth and breadth (in the words of Penny). Together with Leanne Morgan, the three of us have an innate passion for information literacy - the ability to empower our students with the skills they need to truly engage with information with care, creativity and critical mindsets. We are all pedagogy fanatics and strive to engage our students with skills they will find relevant and can apply immediately.

As a follow-up from our conference presentation, Penny and I had an article published in ACCESS. This includes examples of our resources, scope and sequence documents and a few works in progress.

The article is included below if you'd like to check it out.
